I want to scratch yer eyeballs out

clik to take a closer look
In a house that really didn't do anything for me, this room - THAT chair - made me want to like it. The tile of the fireplace surround, the rug, the tiger, big furry chair, windows. I was getting a good feeling. Until I spied those orchids in a cylinder vase. NOOOOOOOOOooooooooo...... out! Get out! And take your precious little girl portrait friend with you. Back to the room you belong in. You're creating tension... and not in a good way.

You two go live down the hall, here

And don't be mucking up this room either with your cylinder vase

Thank you.

  1. Holy shit, that first room is awesome. Except, of course, for the poopy orchids and the cutesy portrait. I am positively transfixed by that ceiling and the fireplace surround, and the gorgeous orange chairs, and that ridiculously expensive pillow that I want so badly, and the golden stool, and the Arco, and those arched french doors. Sigh. Ok, I feel better now.

  2. This made me laugh out loud! So, agreed, sometimes those thoughtless last minute staging items are just that--- thoughtless? A home needs to look lived in, comfortable, personal. These are a bit awkward when thrown into most spaces!

Obviously home to me means giant little girl portraits and a cylinder of blossoms. I also like to see a open book with reading glasses tossed casually on top. Because before a photoshoot, you were intrenched in the latest twilight novel and forgot to put it away. Naturally...

  3. Being the proud new owner of two orchids that I've managed to keep alive longer than I expected, those are just weird, and there's really nothing more to say that that!
