Such a (beautiful) racket

I need the details on the fabrics biz. Same fabrics sold under different names = different prices. Sometimes a huge difference. That's one thing.

But a bigger thing, why do Scalamandre Leopardo and Le Tigre silk cut velvets "retail" for like, 2000K a yard? Why?

 I know they're beautiful. And I love them. LOVE. I want to use the leopard on this


Strip that wood and upholster.

The best I've been able to find the velvets for is 300 yd on ebay.

I guess. If I have to.

Is there another go-to leopard or tiger?
